Life’s Little Treasures Foundation receives all proceeds (after expenses) to continue supporting families of premature and sick babies.

The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation is a charity that provides support, understanding, information and assistance throughout Australia to families of children born prematurely or sick. Our services are available in the hospital (neonatal intensive and special care units) and the community when families come home.

The Foundation receives no government funding and is solely reliant on public donations with 100% of all fundraising going to the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, who also organise the event through their staff and volunteers.

Some families sadly have a little treasure that is now an angel. This year we will again remember these precious babies with a short ceremony at the start of the walk that we symbolise with the release of doves.

For all locations (except Brisbane) arrive between 9.30am and 10am for the remembrance ceremony to start at 10.25am, followed by the walk. Due to the heat the Brisabane event starts an hour earlier so we ask you to arrive at 8.30am – 9am.

Yes – being part of a group is an excellent way to enjoy the day while raising much-needed funds for families in need. Please note that all team members must be registered for the same event.

Yes – the walking track is suitable for prams.

Yes – for insurance purposes we require everyone that is participating to register, and this includes babies.

For the longer walks there will be water stations around the route, for shorter Walk for Prems walks there will be water only at the finish line.

Yes – there is 1 toilet block near the start/finish line.

NO – please leave your furry friend at home.

Food options will vary depending on the site of each event. Food trucks will be present at larger events and a sausage sizzle will be available at our smaller events.

Yes – there will be a selection of merchandise available for sale on the day or through your account after you have registered online.

We hope you make it on the day but sometimes things don’t go to plan. Under the terms and conditions of the event, there are no refunds. Please consider this a donation to Life’s Little Treasures Foundation.

If any of the locations come under COVID restrictions then your ticket automatically changes to a virtual ticket and you can walk anywhere near your home on the day. If an event is postponed or cancelled due to bad weather, and you can't attend the new event date, then your ticket automatically changes to a virtual ticket.

All early bird registrants will receive registration packs by post around mid September. For those who registered after the early bird pricing closed, registration packs will be sent out weekly from the end of September. For those who register in October, registration packs will be available to collect from the event location on walk day, if you do not receive it in the mail prior to the day. Virtual registration packs will be posted though we cannot guarantee arrival in time for the event.

If you purchase merchandise in the same transaction as an event registration, the merchandise will be sent to you with your registration pack. For merchandise purchased without registration, orders will be processed and dispatched within 7 business days. We will endeavor to have all orders arrive to you prior to the event but cannot guarantee this.
